Qualifications
Candidates seeking appointment as Professor must have  a Doctorate degree in the relevant  field  and must  have  minimum of 15 years’ teaching  and research experience
Candidate must show evidence of contributions to knowledge in the  form of several ground-breaking publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals and books published by reputable publishers.
The candidates must also show evidence of academic leadership in the form of successfully supervised postgraduate theses, and some administrative experience. Candidates who already hold chairs of other Nigerian Universities will have an advantage.

Qualifications
Candidates seeking appointment as Reader must hold a Doctorate degree in the relevant field and must have a minimum of 12 years’ teaching and research experience and evidence of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals and books published by reputable publishers.
The candidates must also show evidence of potential to rise to the professoriate. Candidates who already hold Readerships in other Nigerian Universities will have an advantage.
